How powerful is Nepal?

GDP of whole of Nepal : 19.29$ billion .

GDP of Mumbai : 264$ billion (somewhat close)

GDP of Shanghai : 414$ billion

Military

Nepal available manpower : 14600000 men

India available manpower : 61600000 men

China available manpower : 750000000 men

Comparing weapons and equipment is not possible. Nepal doesn’t have any advanced weapons neither does it need any.

I think money and military can be the only 2 major factors in comparing a country’s strength. And by both means Nepal is nowhere near.

However Nepalese men are dedicated and tough fighters. India and Britain’s most feared Gorkhas come from Nepal.

Financially Nepal isn’t much of a power. But if there would ever be a hand to hand combat between ground armies of either India and China with Nepal, the Nepalese would inflict very very heavy damage.

They won’t be hold on against india or China in a war in the long run, but boy that long run is surely going to be very very long.
